Rajapalayam

The Rajapalayam, named after the town of Rajapalayam in Tamil Nadu, has a proud history as a royal guard dog and hunting companion to Indian royalty. It was historically used to hunt boar and guard palaces.

Known for its striking white coat, muscular build, and alert nature, the Rajapalayam is a powerful and loyal breed. Its protective instincts make it an excellent guard dog.

Rajapalayams are deeply loyal to their families and are protective of children. While they are naturally reserved with strangers, they are gentle and affectionate with family members, making them great companions for homes that seek both protection and love.

Chippiparai

Originating from the Tamil Nadu region, the Chippiparai was traditionally bred as a hunting dog, often used by aristocratic families for hunting deer, wild boar, and hare. Its lean and athletic build reflects its strong hunting heritage.

The Chippiparai is known for its grace, speed, and agility. It has a slim, muscular frame with a short coat that’s easy to maintain. This breed is highly intelligent and independent, making it an excellent working dog.

Mudhol Hound

The Mudhol Hound, also known as the Caravan Hound, has been used for centuries by hunters and warriors in India. It originated from the Deccan Plateau region and is known for its endurance and speed in chasing prey.

The Mudhol Hound is an elegant, tall, and slender breed with a short coat and a regal presence. Its endurance and speed make it a versatile hunting dog, while its independent nature reflects its strong working background.
